My last Halloween card of the season is this sweet little shaker card. I needed one more card for my young, professional niece and I thought this more modern, sophisticated design was perfect for her. Plus, I need to get going on more Christmas cards and this one was super quick and easy to put together. After die cutting my letters in an A2, ivory cardstock panel, I die cut them again in black to get the outlines. Then, before adding acetate and foam strips to the back, I stamped a small sentiment below the letters in black. I attached everything to a patterned background panel, enclosing some shaker material, and using my Misti for alignment. Finally, a frame with a reverse scallop detail and some matte black embellishments. I thought about adding more to the card and I almost did, (a text background on the ivory cardstock, or some ghost die cuts, or some ribbon, a pumpkin, etc.) but I’m happy I left it as a simple and clean design. All the supplies I used are listed below. Thanks for visiting today!
