There are so many really amazing things in the new Pretty Pink Posh January release and I’ve declared many of them as my favorites. But this XOXO Heart Border, this is my absolute favorite thing from this release. There’s just something about those little stitched X’s and perfectly shaped hearts that get me every time I see them! And I love that there is a separate heart so you can easily alternate colors, like I did here, with cherry red and light blue cardstock. I paired my border with the new Be Mine Shadow Dies and added a sweet sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Valentine Stamp Set for a quick and easy Valentine’s Day card.
The designers for Pretty Pink Posh have showcased some beautiful cards using this border and have really inspired me. Like, Laura Bassen’s card for the Pretty Pink Posh Instagram Hop last week. Goals.
For even more inspiration, hop along with all the designers over on Instagram. There’s still time to leave comments along the way for your chance to win a $30.00 gift certificate! Leave your comments before January 16th friends. Winners will be chosen randomly and 5 winners will be announced on the Pretty Pink Posh Instagram page.

STEPS
1.) Die cut the XOXO Heart Border from light blue cardstock two times. With the separate heart die, die cut hearts from red cardstock and attach to the border with liquid adhesive. Set aside.
2.) Die cut an A2 scallop frame and an A2 card panel from the same light blue cardstock. Glue the scallop frame to the the card panel.
3.) Using a nesting rectangle die, die cut patterned paper to fit inside the scallop frame and attach with liquid adhesive. Trim the XOXO borders to fit the patterned paper panel. Glue one to the top of the panel and one to the bottom of the panel.
4.) Die cut the “Be Mine” script from red cardstock and the shadow portion from ivory cardstock. Secure the script to the shadow with glue. Using thin foam squares, attach the entire “Be Mine” to the front of the card panel.
5.) With cream embossing powder, heat emboss the sentiment on the small stitched Sentiment Strip and attach to the card panel with thin foam squares.
6.) Attach everything to an A2 side-fold card base with liquid adhesive and add clay heart embellishments.
