Let’s Party! Birthday Cupcakes + Pretty Pink Posh 10th Birthday Blog Hop Day 2

It’s time to celebrate!🎉🎈✨ The fabulous Pretty Pink Posh💕 is turning 10, and I’m thrilled to be taking part in their Birthday Blog Hop this month. Today, I’m showcasing some of the amazing things from their new release and it’s available now at Pretty Pink Posh. For my project, I used the new Birthday Cupcakes Stamp Set and the coordinating dies, along with the layered Half Stars Stencils. I colored my images with Copic markers, adding white gel pen highlights, Glossy Accents, and a few glittery details to spice things up. The background is stenciled with coordinating ink colors and spritzed with some shimmer spray on one of the star layers. My sentiment is from the previously released Birthday Scripts Stamp Set, which is new to me but already one of my all-time favorites. I put everything on one of the Eyelet Rectangle Dies and added a sprinkling of Gold Mini Star Confetti to finish this fun project.

STEPS

1.) Die cut the largest Eyelet Rectangle from white cardstock and mask the edges with low-tack tape.
2.) With the Half Stars Stencil, stencil the center portion of the eyelet rectangle using teal and navy inks. After stenciling the second half of the stars and before removing the stencil, spritz with shimmer spray.
3.) Stamp the cupcake images and color with alcohol markers or any other medium. Die cut with the coordinating dies.
4.) Add details to the cupcakes using gel or glitter pens, Glossy Accents, etc.
5.) Stamp the sentiment in a coordinating color and die cut with coordinating die.
6.) Stamp and heat emboss part of the sentiment in white on stenciled star or stamp it on a sentiment strip and add it that way.
7.) Attach the Eyelet Rectangle to a couple of colored cardstock panels in coordinating colors with liquid adhesive. The navy panel is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
8.) Use foam squares to attach the cupcakes and the die cut sentiment.
9.) Attach everything to an A2 side-fold card base with liquid adhesive. Add mini gold stars as embellishment.
