Pretty Pink Posh Nighttime Mushroom Scene + IG Hop

My project features the awesome new Mushroom Shaker Dies and can you believe I didn’t make it into a shaker?? To help bring my scene to life, I pulled some mushrooms and greenery from other sets. Here are the other Pretty Pink Posh products I used for this design:

I started my project by creating the background panel first. On an A2 white cardstock panel, I ink blended Mist, Dew, and Raindrop Pawsitively Saturated Inks for the sky and added a little Forest Moss Distress Oxide at the bottom of the panel to help ground the scene. Next, I splattered the panel with Wonderland Distress Mica Stain.

My next step was to die cut all the elements for my scene from white cardstock and ink most of them with a variety of Distress Inks and Pawsitively Saturated Inks. I added depth and dimension to them by splattering them with plain water and different inks, and then also layering on ink with a sea sponge. After die cutting the moon and stars, I sprayed them with Flickering Candle Distress Mica Stain for a shimmery gold appearance.

After assembling the die cuts, I stacked most of them with another blank die cut for strength and dimension. I attached all the elements to my background panel with a combination of liquid adhesive and/or foam squares. Lastly, I die cut the Fall Script from white cardstock, inking it a little so it wasn’t so stark and attached to my design. A stamped sub-sentiment die cut with a sentiment strip finishes this nighttime mushroom scene.
