Just Add Sunshine with Papertrey Ink

Hi friends! Sunflowers have been so popular in the crafty world this year, and Papertrey Ink has some great new products featuring the lovely blooms. The project I’m sharing today showcases just a couple of the new sunflower products that are available, including the Fall Harvest Stamp Set and the Sunflower Garden Stencil Collection. Keep reading to follow along with the steps I took to create this sunny card perfect for sending an autumn hello!

Here are the Papertrey Ink products I used for this project:

Sunflower Garden Stencil Collection – New!
Fall Harvest Stamp Set – New!
Fall Harvest Die – New!
Reflections: August Die – New!
Border Bling: Skinny Postage Frames
Larger Than Life: Hello Die

My first step was to die cut the largest Skinny Postage Frame from Lawn Fawn’s Speckled Eggshell cardstock. Then I stenciled the Sunflower Garden on the inside panel with Pawsitively Saturated Inks before mounting the panel and the frame to an A2 Speckled Eggshell cardstock panel. To finish the background panel, I distressed the edges a bit with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

My next step was to stamp the elements from the Fall Harvest set using Pawsitively Saturated Inks and then die cut them with the coordinating dies. But before stamping the solid backgrounds of the banner and the 10c piece, I heat embossed the sentiment and the 10c with cream embossing powder. Then I assembled everything and layered the finished seed packet on a teal Reflections: August die cut.

Lastly, I added a Hello greeting that I die cut and inked before tying a rustic ribbon around the bottom of my card.

And that completes this sunny card featuring new products from the latest Papertrey Ink release! Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting, friends!
