Hello! Today, I’m excited to be sharing another Altenew collaboration project that highlights the versatility of their products. This project features the same products I used in my previous post, but instead of having a rustic, wintery vibe, I created a sort of retro, vintage vibe with bold colors and a geometric striped background. Follow along to see how I was able to create a completely different card using the same Altenew products. Let’s get started!
Altenew products featured in this project:
Winter Cardinal Bundle
Poinsettia and Berries Bundle
Mix and Match Frames Die Set

I started by creating the layered background for the poinsettia image. I die cut the smallest, striped Mix and Match Frame from white cardstock and layered a piece of pink cardstock behind it. Then, I attached this to the largest Mix and Match Frame, also die cut from white cardstock, before mounting everything on an A2 white cardstock panel.
Next, I stamped the images for my card design. I used two shades of pink and red ink for the poinsettia leaves and a mustard yellow color for the center. For the holly leaves, I blended two shades of green right on the stamp before bringing the stamp to my paper and then die cut them and the poinsettia with the coordinating dies. I used the berries from the Winter Cardinal set, die cutting them from cardstock inked with pink ink before stamping the shading details with red ink.
To finish up my card design, I attached the poinsettia with foam squares and the holly leaves and berries with liquid adhesive. The final details were to add a greeting stamped in black ink and a few Black Nuvo Crystal Drops.
That’s it for this fun retro-inspired holiday card featuring Altenew products. Project-specific supplies are listed in the description above, and my everyday supplies can be found here. Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!
