Hello Bluebird Barnyard Bash

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing a birthday card featuring some crafty goodies that I picked up a while ago from Hello Bluebird. I created a festive barnyard bash using the Party on the Farm stamp set and the coordinating dies. I gave these party animals the perfect backdrop using the Farmland Background Stamp and framed the scene up with the border of the Gallery Frame #3 Die before mounting everything on my new stamp obsession, the Country Gingham Background Stamp. I love the scale of this gingham pattern; it makes it so versatile.
And there really are no steps to follow for this card. I used a piece of vellum over the background scene to help with the illusion of distance and dimension, colored my images with Copic markers, and of course popped them up with foam squares. White gel pen highlights and some glitter pen embellishments were the finishing details. If you’re interested, here are the Copic color combinations I used:

R32, R14, R24 – all reds
Y11, Y21 – all yellows
G24, G43 – all greens
B52, B95 – all blues
YR02, YR68 – all oranges
E000, R00, R20, R21, R11, E93 – little piggy
E000, E30, E31, E34, E50, E43, E44, E87 – the little cow

The project-specific supplies I used are listed in the description above, and my everyday supplies can be found here. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I’ll see you soon!
