Classic Ornaments

Today I’m sharing a card featuring another favorite from the latest Pretty Pink Posh release, the Ornament Cover Plate, in the classic color combo, navy and khaki. To round out my card design, I added little sprigs of greenery and some shiny silver accents. This is another simple design that can easily be customized to match your style by changing up the colors, using patterned papers, or adding a shaker element. Keep reading for more details about creating this classic card as well as a list of project-specific products. You can find my favorite everyday supplies here. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Pretty Pink Posh products featured:

Ornament Cover Plate
Big Christmas Cupcake – decorative details on the ornaments
Holiday Mug Additions – greenery & the JOY
Holiday Wreath Builder – greenery
Metallic Silver Pearls

My first step was to die cut the cover plate from navy blue cardstock and attach it to an A2 white card base. Then, I die cut the cover plate three more times for the ornaments, once from white, once from vanilla, and once from kraft cardstock. I chose the ornaments I wanted to use and glued them in place.

My next step was to die cut the remaining elements. First, I die cut greenery from green cardstock and trimmed them up to fit the scale of the ornaments before attaching them. Then, I die cut the ornament toppers from matte silver cardstock and attached them with foam squares.

My last steps were to add some decorative details and the scripty JOY to a few of the ornaments and then a scattering of silver pearls.
