Hi friends! I have a charming little project to share with you today showcasing some of the enchanted new things from the latest Waffle Flower Crafts release, Far, Far Away. Using a sweet apricot color palette, I combined the new Feather Pen Die-n-Stencil and Script Texture Stamp Set with the Pinking Rectangle Frames – the perfect way to send a little “Hello” to any of the characters in your story! Keep reading to see how this charming card came together. Project-specific products can be found in the description, and my favorite everyday supplies can be found here. Thanks so much for stopping by today and reading about my latest project. Have an enchanted day!

First, I die cut the two largest Pinking Frames from Lawn Fawn’s Speckled Eggshell cardstock to be fancy papers and spattered them with Antique Linen and Pumice Stone Distress Inks. Then I stamped them with the Script Texture Stamps, adding some of the ink splotches here and there. I attached both to an A2 plaid patterned paper background panel, using thin foam squares for the smaller one to pop it up a bit.
Next, I die cut the elements for the Feather Pen and stenciled it with the coordinating stencil using Dried Marigold, Worn Lipstick, and Pumice Stone Distress Inks. For a little sparkle, I spattered it with Picket Fence Studios Watercolor Splatter: Liquid White Snowflake. For some depth and dimension, I stacked the feather with a couple of more die cuts, the bottom one inked with Pumice Stone. And for the nib of the feather pen, I used matte silver cardstock and then attached the assembled pen to the pinking rectangles.
To finish things up, I added some roses from the Intertwined Swans set that I inked with Worn Lipstick, Lumberjack Plaid, and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks, along with a couple of sentiment strips from the Subsentiments Quill Note set that I popped up with foam squares. The finishing detail was to add a few white enamel dots from the Clean & Clear embellishments set.
