Hello and happy Monday! I have a sweet birthday card to share with you today that you can recreate in less than an hour. My card features the latest Postage Collage Cupcake Stencil, part of the Waffle Flower Sneak Peek Kit this month, which was so, so good, by the way. But the whole Hey Cupcake release is available now, so you don’t have to wait to get your hands on the latest goodies! Keep reading to find a supply list and all the details about this quick and easy birthday card. If you’re interested, you can find my favorite everyday supplies here. Thanks so much for stopping by! Let’s get started!
Here is a snapshot of the supplies I used including ink colors.

SUPPLIES
Waffle Flower Postage Collage Cupcake Stencil
Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die
Waffle Flower Essential Celebrations Combo
Pretty Pink Posh Pierced Stars Plate
Pretty Pink Posh Bright Rainbow Confetti
Concord & 9th Creamsicle Cardstock
SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink: Apple, Cantaloupe, Sprout, Seafoam, Surf, Cocoa, Gingerbread
SSS Rainbow Splash Ink: Buttercream
Distress Ink: Antique Linen

My first step was to die cut the Postage Collage Die from white cardstock. Then I stenciled the images using the ink colors listed above. I added details to some of the images with colored pencils -nothing fancy, some lines in the cupcake liners, decorative lines on the candles, and a few creases on the bow. I snipped the stamps apart and set them aside while I got to work on the background.
I used the Pierced Stars Plate to die cut a piece of Creamsicle cardstock and then trimmed it to 4 x 5 1/4 inches. To finish the background, I mounted the panel on an A2 side-fold card base with foam tape.
Next, I attached the stamps with either liquid adhesive or foam squares. I finished my card design with a stamped and die cut sentiment, a few clay confetti pieces, and some sprinkles on the chocolate cupcake using a white gel pen.
And that’s it for this sweet birthday card that you can create in less than an hour. Happy crafting!
