Welcome to day 2 of sneak peek inspiration for the upcoming Pretty Pink Posh release! This is a release you won’t want to miss, friends. There are beautiful new florals, new stencils, and of course, new shakers! There are 4 days of sneak peeks to get you inspired, and part of today’s sneak peeks include the new Vase Shaker, which I used to create the card I’m sharing today. One of the best things about shaker dies is that you aren’t limited to using them only as shakers. You can use them as regular dies like I did here and still get beautiful results. Be sure to check out all the sneak peeks today, here and here, where you’ll find shaker inspiration and so much more!
I combined the vase shaker with some other new things from the May release, which I’ll link in the supply list below. However, the links won’t be live until release day on May 7th. Full disclosure, these are affiliate links, and there is no extra cost to you if you use them to shop. More details about affiliate links can be found here. Keep reading to get all the details about this inspiration card featuring the new Pretty Pink Posh Vase Shaker full of fresh spring flowers.

Let’s start with the background. Stencil the Layered Daffodils on a Desert Storm cardstock panel using blending brushes and the inks listed above. Let the inks dry and set before then die cutting the panel with the largest Eyelet Rectangle. Next, add white spatter to the panel by splattering it with thinned white gouache paint. Finally, mount the panel to an A2 card base.
With the background completed, die cut the vase and floral elements from white and colored cardstock. I die cut the vase elements from white cardstock and then ran the main body piece through my die cut machine with the Scallops Pierced Plate to add a decorative detail to the vase. For the florals, I chose yellow and white daffodils and light pink lily of the valley. But you can choose any colors for your flowers to customize your card design to what you like best.
Next, assemble the die cuts and secure them to the background panel. I used foam squares for the vase and left a little space at the top to tuck in the flowers. I used glue and foam squares to attach the flowers depending on their placement in the vase.
To finish up the card, heat emboss a sentiment with green embossing powder on white cardstock and then die cut it with the coordinating die. Attach this to the vase and add a few clear droplets for embellishment.
Thank you for stopping by to see this sneak peek of the Vase Shaker from the upcoming Pretty Pink Posh May release! Stay tuned for more!
