Welcome to Day 3 of sneak peek inspiration for the Pretty Pink Posh May release! Yesterday I shared a project featuring the soon-to-be-released Vase Shaker, and today I’m sharing a project that showcases one of the new upcoming stamp sets, Tea Time. The images in this set are so, so cute, and I couldn’t wait to get them stamped so I could color them. I stepped out of my comfort zone a bit and used blues and purples for this design; color inspiration that I took from some beautiful new shaker beads that will also be coming your way.
The big day is May 7th friends, and that’s when the links in the supply list below will go live. These are affiliate links, and if you use them to shop, it will be at no extra cost to you. My first step for this card was to stamp all the images on white cardstock with a Copic-friendly black ink. Then I colored my images with the colors listed above before die cutting them with the coordinating dies. I finished the coloring with some white gel pen highlights and then set them aside while I worked on the background.
First, I die cut the lattice panel from blue cardstock and layered it with a lighter blue patterned paper. Next I added a white scallop frame and then attached everything to an A2 card base.
With the background done, I attached my images with glue or foam squares depending on their placement and if they overlapped. Finally, I added a die cut greeting and a white heat embossed sentiment to finish up the design.
Thank you so much for checking out day 3 of sneak peek inspiration for the Pretty Pink Posh May release. Stay tuned for the reveal on May 7th!
