A Magical Christmas in July Release and Giveaway!

Hi friends! Welcome to Christmas in July!
In celebrating the new Waffle Flower Magical Christmas release, I’ve partnered with @waffleflowercrafts to give 1 lucky winner a $20 gift certificate to waffleflower.com! Head over to IG to get all the details and to get tons of inspiration from the designers and guest designers for the upcoming Christmas crafting season.

For my inspiration project, I created a festive little scene using the whimsical new Holiday Moose Die-n-Stencil, giving him a snowy backdrop and plenty of glittery accents. Below you’ll find a supply list and all the details about how I used those supplies to create my inspiration project featuring products from the Waffle Flower Magical Christmas release. Let’s get started!

For this project, I started with the adorable moose by die cutting him from white cardstock. I used the inks listed above and the coordinating stencil to color him. The stencils made this step super quick and easy and with amazing results!

For the snowy backdrop, I inked an A2 white cardstock panel with Minty Fresh ink and then die cut it with the Frosty Texture Die. I trimmed about 1/8 inch from each side of the panel and then spattered it with white gouache.

Next, I added the moose to the bottom of the panel so he could peek above and embellished his antlers for a festive look. First, I die cut the holly leaves, inked them, and then snipped them apart for individual leaves. Then I die cut the berries from red glitter cardstock and tucked them and the leaves in and around his antlers.

I added the glittery sentiment and some glittery snowflakes before adding glossy accents to the eyes. The last step was to add the panel to a white card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read about my project celebrating the Magical Christmas release from Waffle Flower. Hope you’re inspired to start your holiday crafting with this amazing release!
