I started by creating the Gingerbread Shaker element for my card. First, I die-cut the gingerbread frames seven times from kraft cardstock and glued them together to create the walls of the shaker. I also die-cut one frame from plaid patterned paper to be the top decorative layer. Then I die-cut the backer piece from more plaid patterned paper and the window from clear acetate. I assembled all the pieces, filling the well with shaker beads before securing the top acetate layer to the walls of the shaker. Shaker element done!

I attached the Gingerbread Shaker to a white Argyle Pierced cardstock panel and then added all the decorative details, including the Santa hat that I pulled from the Christmas Holder Additions die set. I decked the halls with candy canes, “sugared” gumdrops, and festive Christmas lights.

To finish things up, I added a Christmas Greeting heat embossed with white embossing powder on a red Banner with a fun pierced detail. A few extra glitter baubles and some shimmering pearls are the finishing touches to this holiday shaker card.

Thank you so much for checking out my inspiration for the Pretty Pink Posh IG Hop featuring the new holiday collection. Happy holiday crafting!
