Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing this elegant botanical beauty that I created as inspiration for the Altenew October release. I created this lush garden design using the new Creative Cuts: Enchanted Vines Die Set. I’m a huge fan of Altenew’s intricate and detailed Creative Cuts collection, and this set, which reminds me of William Morris’ beautiful design motifs, is no exception. I chose rich, saturated colors for the garden vines and then tossed in a few blooms from the Whimsical Flower Vine Die Set for this elegant botanical card. Creative Cuts: Enchanted Vines Die Set

Versatile Greetings Die Set
This project is all die-cutting and will come together quickly. Choosing my cardstock colors took me longer than anything else! I started by die-cutting the Enchanted Vines and settled on three colors: lemongrass, parsley, and jade. The die set includes a few layering pieces that are optional, but I chose to use them and even added a few extra diecuts to bring the parsley and jade colors to the top left of the design. After layering the vine diecuts, I attached them to an A2 cardstock panel in a peacock color.
My next step was to die-cut the flowers from the Whimsical Flower Vine Set. I chose ivory and burnt orange as my colors and layered the pieces together. There are two layers to this flower, but I added a third layer in the middle to get a pop of the burnt orange color. I scattered the flowers throughout the panel, being sure to leave space for the sentiment.
To finish things up, I added a die-cut sentiment from the Versatile Greetings set. I chose ivory cardstock for the text and vellum for the shadow. Then I used thin foam strips to attach the sentiment to the card panel. The finishing touch was to add a few matte gold pearls for embellishment.
