Hi friends! I’m popping in to share another card featuring goodies from this month’s My Monthly Hero, Happy Mail, from Hero Arts. This time I dove into the two die sets that are included to create this charming mailbox card that could be used for Valentine’s Day or any day you want to make someone feel special. Take a quick peek at the supplies I used, and then we’ll talk about how this charming card came together!
SUPPLIES
Hero Arts My Monthly Hero January 2026 – Happy Mail
– Post Box Die Set
– Mini Notecard Die Set
– Chiffon Cardstock
Hero Arts It’s No Mystery stamp Set
Lawn Fawn Dolphin Cardstock
Simon Says Stamp Lipstick Red Cardstock
Spellbinders Matte Gold Metallic Cardstock
SSS Sangria Pawsitively Saturated Ink
Distress Ink Lost Shadow
Pink, green, and a red patterned paper from my scrap bin

I started with die-cutting the main components for the vintage-inspired mailbox from red cardstock and assembled the pieces so the top of the mailbox would be in an open position with a slot for tucking in some mail. Then I added a little shading to the mailbox with a darker red ink. Finally, I added the newspaper hooks and some decorative gold accents before attaching the mailbox with foam squares to a piece of Chiffon Cardstock trimmed to 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Next, I die-cut all the fun accessories that I tucked into the mailbox. I used the included die sets to create a couple of envelopes that I embellished with decorative stamps and seals, a pretty floral bouquet, and a rolled-up newspaper tied with gold twine. Then I added subtle shading to the newspaper and the floral wrapping around the bouquet with light gray ink. I tucked everything into the mailbox and finished up by adding a white heat-embossed sub-sentiment under the newspaper.
Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my charming mailbox card that I created using supplies in this month’s My Monthly Hero from Hero Arts! Happy crafting!
