Welcome Little One with Pretty Pink Posh

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing a sweet baby card featuring a bundle of Pretty Pink Posh products. The Bear Holder is the focal point for this design, and I have him soaking in a baby bubble bath that I created by reimagining some of the dies in my stash, including the Candy Bucket. Take a peek at all the supplies I used and then we’ll get started!

My first step was to create the tub full of bubbles. I die-cut the Candy Bucket base from a glossy white cardstock to be the tub basin and added little feet, which are the candle holders from the Cake Slice Shaker set. They are the perfect size and look a little like the claw feet of an actual bathtub! Now to fill the tub with bubbles, I reached for the Shadow Box Dies, specifically the bushy landscape die, which features a large, scalloped edge. This translated to bubbles easily when die-cut from vellum and white textured cardstock. I needed a background panel for the bathtub, so I die-cut the Argyle Pierced Plate from Tidepool cardstock and attached the bathtub and bubbles to it with foam squares. This added a little dimension and left some room to tuck in the bear later.

My next step was to create the streamer of banners hanging in the background. I used a combination of plain white and colored cardstock and some patterned paper for the base of the streamer and then embellished it with heart and star die-cuts. I attached the streamer to the background panel and got to work on the other elements of my card design.

First, I die-cut the Bear Holder from kraft cardstock and added subtle shading around the edges with a darker coordinating ink. Then I die-cut the components for his sweet face and added them to the bear before tucking him into the bathtub. Next, I die-cut a few floating bubbles, a rubber duckie, and some adorable baby toys to complete the scene. Like I did with the streamer, I combined patterned paper with plain white and colored cardstock for these last few elements, adding interest and texture. My last step was to heat emboss the sentiment with white embossing powder on a wavy banner and attach it across the bathtub.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see this sweet baby card featuring a bundle of Pretty Pink Posh products! See you again soon!
