Hi friends! I’m excited to share some Baking Fun cards with you this week featuring products from the latest Waffle Flower release. I’m starting with my favorite of the three cards I made, a sweet kitchen scene featuring the new Nesting Postage Collage Baking Fun Stencil and the Baking Fun Dies in a classic blue and yellow color palette. I added some new sentiments from the collection, and to pull it all together, I added a sweet gingham background. Check out my supply list and then we’ll get started!

My first step was to create the background panel for my stenciled image and all the fun baking-themed die-cuts. I stamped the gingham pattern with blue ink on white cardstock and trimmed the panel to 3.75 x 5 inches. I layered this onto an A2 card base and moved on to the stenciling.
I stenciled the main image, the stand mixer from the NPC Baking Fun layering stencils, on white cardstock. As I mentioned in the intro, I used a classic blue and yellow color palette, and the inks I used are listed above. Then I used the coordinating dies to die-cut the image and the postage-edged panel to layer it on. I added these to the background panel and got to work on die-cutting.
I started with white cardstock for the die-cut components and then inked them with the same blue and yellow ink colors I used for stenciling. I assembled the pieces and then added them to the scene using foam squares.

With the baking scene assembled on the background panel, it was time to add the greeting and the sentiment. Both were stamped with dark brown ink: the piped “Hello” on a smaller Postage Collage die-cut that I inked using the PC Block Stencil for a blue background and the sentiment that I die-cut using the coordinating die. I added these to my card design and finished up by adding white gel pen highlights for some dimension.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see this Baking Fun card design I created using products from the latest Waffle Flower release. Happy crafting!
