Hi friends! I’m so excited to share with you my submission for the Mama Elephant Guest Designer call! I used one of my favorite Mama Elephant stamp sets, the Little Boo Agenda, and paired it with the Little Agenda Frames to create a spooky yet silly gallery wall featuring all your favorite boos. Let’s get started on this whimsical design.
My first step was to create the tattered wallpapered wall to hang the frames on. I chose striped patterned paper to die cut with the largest Deckled Frames die and then distressed the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink. I used a random small die to die cut some holes and rips in the wallpaper panel and then I curled one corner of the panel and one of the “rips” to get the look of peeling wallpaper. I attached this to an ivory cardstock layer and then two layers of orange-patterned paper. The last layer is slightly larger than 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches, but you could stop at one or two layers for an A2 card size.
Next, I stamped the images I wanted from the Little Boo Agenda and the Little Agenda Frames sets in black ink on white cardstock for Copic coloring. I colored my images and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them. I backed my frames with patterned paper scraps, and then mounted the little boos in the frames. I stacked all the frames with another die cut frame to give them a little more weight and then attached them with foam squares on the wallpaper panel.
To finish things up, I stamped a sentiment from the Be Scary Stamp Set with clear embossing powder on black cardstock and heat set it with cream embossing powder. I used the coordinating die to die cut the sentiment and stacked it with another die cut before attaching it with foam squares to the bottom of the wallpaper panel. Then I heat embossed the tiny Boo! and a couple of spider webs with cream embossing powder on the wallpaper. For the final details, I added shiny gold pearls to a couple of the hangers and some cracking to one of the pictures with a Copic Multiliner. The finishing touches for little boos were to give them a little sparkle with a Wink of Stella glitter marker, black glaze pen details for their eyes, and just a few white gel pen highlights.
Thanks for stopping by and reading all about my Little Boo Agenda project. Project-specific supplies are listed and linked below, and my everyday supplies can be found here. I couldn’t be happier with how this project turned out, and I hope you (and Mama Elephant) like my design as much as I do!
