Botanical Duo with Waffle Flower Crafts

Hello! Today I have a pair of botanical beauties to share with you, featuring the Sketched Marigold Bundle that I combined with the Oversized Postage Combo from Waffle Flower Crafts. The Sketched Marigold Bundle includes the stamp set, stencils, and a coordinating die that makes highlighting the beauty of these understated and underappreciated blooms super easy. Let’s get started!

I made the backgrounds first by stamping Honey Bee Stamps’ Vintage Flora Background Stamp on black cardstock with white pigment ink. Then, with the Oversized Postage Combo, I die cut the panels with the Oversized Postage Die and heat embossed a couple of the postage denominations from the stamp set with white embossing powder in the corners. I layered these panels with white and black cardstock and, lastly, a color-coordinated panel die cut from Pink Fresh Studio’s Blanket Stitched Rectangle Die.

Next, I stamped the Sketched Marigolds with black ink on white cardstock and used the coordinating stencils to color the images. I die cut these with the coordinating die and then stacked them with another blank die cut for a little dimension. Finally, I attached the marigolds to the backgrounds.

The last step was to stamp a couple of sentiments from the Sketched Marigold Stamp set with black ink on white cardstock and then die cut them with one of Lawn Fawn’s Fancy Wavy Banner Dies. I attached the sentiment banners across the marigolds to finish up this pair of botanical beauties.
