Snow Much Love

I’m so excited to finally share some projects using newer Waffle Flower products, and just in time for the holiday season! My first project features the Snowman Stencil, part of the Postage Collage collection that I still absolutely adore. I kept the postage collage panel intact and mounted it on some patterned paper I made with the little snowflakes from the coordinating North Pole Stamp Set. I finished with some small airmail stamps, a sweet sentiment from the Snow Cheer Set, and a few heart embellishments. Follow along below as I go through the steps to create this jolly snowman card.

Waffle Flower products used for this project:

Postage Collage Stamp Set
Postage Collage Die
Postage Collage Snowman Stencil
Postage Collage North Pole Stamp Set
Oversized Postage Stamp Set
Snow Cheer Sentiments Combo

Distress Inks used for this project:
Lumberjack Plaid
Black Soot
Gathered Twigs
Lost Shadow

Other Inks used for this project:
Lawn Fawn Yeti
SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink Cantaloupe

I started by die cutting the Postage Collage Die from white cardstock and stenciling the snowman images with the inks in the description above, except for the large snowflake. For that, I used a stencil paste from Picket Fence Studios, Winter Snowfall Paper Glaze Velvet, for a little texture and sparkle. Then, using black ink, I added some of the airmail stamps from the original Postage Collage Stamp Set as well as the North Pole set.

Next, I stamped multiple snowflakes from the North Pole set on a gray A2 cardstock panel using white pigment ink. Then, I mounted the stenciled postage collage panel to the gray cardstock panel with foam tape.

To finish my card design, I stamped and die cut a sentiment from the Snow Cheer set in black ink, attached it with foam squares, and added a few stamped heart embellishments. The final touches were to add white gel pen highlights to the eyes and buttons and some shading and sparkle to the snowmen with a Wink of Stella glitter brush pen.

Thank you so much for stopping by and reading all about my latest card design featuring some of the newer Waffle Flower products in their shop. Happy crafting, friends!
