Winter Wonderland

Hello! I have another Waffle Flower project to share today, and I think it might be my favorite one this season! I used the Postage Collage Snowy Stencil from the Snow Fun Release to create little snapshots of a winter wonderland and combined them with some greenery from the Poinsettia Cluster Die. I mounted everything on a background panel die cut with the Sweet Plaid Texture Die and finished my design with a Snow Cheer Sentiment and a couple of smaller North Pole Stamps. Keep reading to check out how this card design came together. You’ll find the project-specific supplies listed below and my favorite everyday supplies here. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

My first step was to die cut the Postage Collage base from white cardstock and then stencil the Postage Collage Snowy scenes with the inks listed above. I created two small heart masks with masking paper to go above the doors of the little houses before inking them and then colored the hearts in with a Copic marker. Next, I used the Blocks Stencil to mask the edges of the Postage Collage base while I applied thinned white gouache paint spatters for the falling snow before snipping the scenes apart for individual stamps.

My next step was to attach the snowy scenes to a Peacock Green cardstock panel die cut with the Sweet Plaid Texture Die using either liquid adhesive or foam squares. I used foam squares for the ones that overlapped. To round out my design, I die cut some greenery and berries from the Poinsettia Cluster set from white cardstock and inked them using the ink colors listed above. Then I attached a small bundle on the bottom left of the design.

The final steps were to stamp a couple of the North Pole stamps with black ink and die cut them with the circle and square dies included in the Postage Collage Die set. I attached these to my card design, tucked in a white die cut snowflake, and added a stamped and die cut sentiment from the Snow Cheer Bundle set. And that completes this Winter Wonderland card design!

    1. Thanks Lori!
The green cardstock is linked in the description – it’s Concord & 9th. For stamping, stenciling, and copic coloring on white cardstock, I always use Neenah 110# smooth cardstock. I have this linked on my everyday supplies page. Have a great week!
