Thank you so much for stopping by to see my hop inspiration, friends! My project features the adorable new Dog Holder die set that I combined with the new Birthday Holder Addition dies. I created a festive scene for this party animal using some previously released products as well as some other new products, like the Layered Garland Stencils and the Upright Greetings: Birthday Stamp set. Keep reading to find a list of project-specific products and supplies as well as the steps I took to create this fun birthday card celebrating Pretty Pink Posh turning 11. As always, you can find my favorite everyday supplies here. Happy hopping, and don’t forget to leave comments along the way!

Glitter paper, patterned paper, and colored cardstock from my stash

Using the supplies listed above, I started my project by die cutting the largest wonky rectangle from white cardstock. I stenciled the garlands on the top half with red, yellow, and turquoise inks. Then I applied spatter with the same ink colors as well as a sparkly silver color. Lastly I mounted the panel on an A2 kraft cardstock panel.

With the background completed, I got to work on die cutting the elements for my card design. I used a combination of glitter, patterned papers, and colored cardstock. I assembled the elements and attached them to my background panel using both liquid adhesive and foam squares. I added a small stick to the “Party” die cut so the puppy could hold on to it and added white gel pen highlights to the eyes and the nose.

My last step was to heat emboss the upright sentiments with white embossing powder on teal cardstock and die cut them with sentiment strip dies before attaching them and adding a decorative metallic silver pearl at the top. And that completes the fun birthday card design!
