Hello! Today I’m sharing two cards featuring fun winter products from the Pink & Main October release. For my first card, I used the Fun Winter Frames Stamp Set and a lovely lavender and aqua color palette. My second card features the October Cat and the beautiful Snowflake Flurries Cover Die. CARD 1 PROCESS
My first step for this card was to stamp all the images with an alcohol-ink-friendly black ink on white cardstock. Then I chose my favorite purple and aqua Copic markers to color the images. After die-cutting them with the coordinating dies, I added decorative details with a white gel pen.
Next, for the background panel, I trimmed one of the patterned papers from the Winter Garden collection to 4.25 x 5.5 inches and added a lavender Wavy Frame. Then I arranged the images on the background panel and secured them with either thin or regular foam squares. I finished up the card with a white heat-embossed sentiment on more lavender cardstock and a scattering of Winter Garden Glitter Enamel Shapes.
CARD 2 PROCESS
For my next card, I die-cut the background panel from blue cardstock using the Snowflake Flurries Cover Plate. Then I die-cut it again from glitter cardstock so I could use one of the larger snowflakes. I layered the blue panel onto a white cardstock panel and set it aside.
My next step was to stamp the cat image with an alcohol-ink-friendly black ink on white cardstock and color it with Copic markers. After die-cutting it with the coordinating die, I colored the white border left from die-cutting with a blue marker that matched the blue cardstock. I positioned the image in the corner of the background panel and finished with a white heat-embossed sentiment and the glitter snowflake die-cut.
