Pretty Pink Posh Elegant Wedding Shaker

Have you checked out the latest Pretty Pink Posh release?! It’s full of the most amazing things, perfect for whatever spring or summer occasion you plan on celebrating, including weddings! The elegant wedding card I’m sharing today features not only goodies from this release but some goodies from previous releases as well.

To start my card design, I created a background using the new Fancy Lattice Stencil and sage green inks. This is a fantastic, versatile stencil, and I know I’ll be reaching for it again and again. I concentrated the darker ink color around the edges of the panel and softly blended into a lighter ink color in the center.

Next, I constructed a fairly simple shaker using the Cake Shaker Die from the recent 10th Birthday Release and framed everything up with a Pretty Pink Posh essential basic, a Scallop Frames Die. I die cut decorative elements from the Valentine Mug Addition Dies and the Big Valentine Cupcake Dies, using metallic cardstocks to coordinate with the new Celebration Shaker Beads that I used inside my shaker.

Then, I heat embossed a sentiment from the new Sentiment Strips: Occasions Stamp Set in gold and die cut it with a Sentiment Strips Die. I left one end of the strip a little longer and then notched the end to create a banner before attaching it with foam squares.

I finished my card design with pretty Ivory Pearls on the cake, a few tiny die cut gold hearts, and gold shaker beads glued to the centers of the small roses.
