My Monthly Hero April 2026 – Twilight Greenhouse

Hi friends! I’m excited to share with you the first card I created using the April 2026 My Monthly Super Hero kit from Hero Arts. This month is a botanical-inspired collection of stamps and dies along with a rainbow of cardstock so you can jump right into creating fresh new designs!

I started with the Greenhouse Die Set and added a couple of elements from the January 2026 kit to build this charming nighttime scene full of lush greenery and a couple of playful critters. Check out all the supplies I used, and then we’ll get started!

My first step was to build the greenhouse. I die-cut the pieces and then attached them to a Lakefront cardstock panel. I layered the greenhouse frame onto a piece of vellum and, under that, a piece of Seaside cardstock to give it a soft aqua glow.

Next, I die-cut all the components for the other elements of my design. I chose three hanging plants and a couple of larger pots to sit on the ground. The plants have many layering pieces, giving them great texture and dimension. To help fill my greenhouse, I created a couple of my own plants. First, a small blooming succulent plant from some extra layering leaves and a few tiny flowers, and then a larger yellow pot of white flowers. I couldn’t resist adding the curious little kitty to the scene and thought the teeny tiny snail was a cute addition.

The last few steps were to stamp a sentiment on Alabaster cardstock and die-cut it with the coordinating dies before attaching it to my card front. And finally, I embellished this twilight greenhouse scene with a sky full of tiny stars.
