Hero Arts Pool Party – My Monthly Super Hero June 2026

Hi friends! You’re invited to the coolest pool party where the sun is warm and the water is sparkling! I’m having a blast creating with this month’s My Monthly Super Hero kit from Hero Arts, and I’m excited to share this pool party shaker card with you today. I used the Pool Party Die Set along with the Reflection Layering Stencil, creatively adding some green grassy areas for this fun scene. Let’s dive in!

Sparkling gems from my stash

My first step was to create the shaker element. To start, I stenciled the water pattern onto a white cardstock panel to be the shaker base. Then, I die-cut the pool from another white cardstock panel and added a piece of acetate over the opening on the reverse side. Next I added foam tape to the panel, creating a well around the opening, and filled it with some sparkling gems before securing the stenciled base panel to the foam tape.

With the shaker element completed, I got to work die-cutting the other elements from colored cardstock. I used the dies included in the kit to create the pool accessories and the sunbathing beauty. I decided to use the pool die to die-cut a shape I could use for creating some green spaces for my pool scene. I trimmed the pieces to fit and added small flowers to each grassy area. My final step was to stamp and die-cut a sentiment to add to my card design.

Thank you for stopping by my pool party scene that I created for a sunny card design featuring components from this month’s My Monthly Super Hero kit from Hero Arts. Happy crafting!
