Hello! Thanks for stopping by today! I’m sharing my last card featuring the August 2026 My Monthly Hero kit, and with its interactive element, it’s my favorite one. I used the Tiny Library die set and all its little accessories to create this charming free library at twilight, complete with little doors that actually open and close. So cute! I kept things simple and used just the die-cuts without added shading or inking to the pieces and pulled in just a few details from other die sets to help build my scene. Check out my supply list and then we’ll get started!

I started by die-cutting and assembling the pieces for the tiny library with the interactive doors. I chose two shades of blue cardstock and vellum for the windows. The assembly is super easy and straightforward. The doors operate with a simple debossed line created while die-cutting the front piece. I scored the line myself too to deepen the debossing before I folded the doors back. Then I die-cut the door frame pieces four times so I could sandwich the vellum between two of them for each door. Before adding all the details inside, I attached the tiny library with liquid adhesive to a piece of Cosmic Blue cardstock trimmed to 4.25 x 5.5 inches.
Now it was time for the fun part, adding all the little books and accessories to the shelves inside the library. I stacked some of the books and leaned some of them to create some interest and finished the shelves with a flower vase and a cute little snail.

Next I moved on to finishing the outside of the library. I added the little “hello” sign that’s included with the set and the moon, which I pulled from a Hello Bluebird set. I created a vining flower with the included flower die, wrapping it around the library post, and then added the bookworm and bumblebees. The finishing touch was to add a scattering of stars for this twilight scene.

Thanks again for stopping by to see this charming card I created featuring the Tiny Library die set from this month’s My Monthly Super Hero. Happy crafting!
