Hi friends! Today I’m sharing this deep blue aquatic birthday card featuring products from the latest Waffle Flower release, Under the Sea. To create this underwater scene, I used the Under the Sea Background and the Postage Collage Under the Sea stencils, both of which were included in the Sneak Peek Kit #4. To complete my card design, I combined the stencils with the Nesting Postage Layers and the Sweet Birthday Sentiments Combo. I started with the background stencil and stenciled the underwater background scene onto a Celestial blue cardstock panel and then die-cut the panel with the largest Nesting Postage Layers rectangle. I layered this onto an A2 Indigo cardstock panel that I first inked with an even darker blue ink and then framed up the scene with the coordinating postage-edge layer.
Next, I stenciled the smaller under-the-sea scenes onto a white cardstock panel and die-cut them with the Postage Collage die. I chose three of the images and layered them onto my background. I finished my card design with a birthday sentiment and white enamel dots before attaching the card front to a top-fold card base.
