Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Dandelions & Release Day

Hello! It’s finally release day over at Pretty Pink Posh! The new collection is full of irresistible bugs, the sweetest bees, and these delightful Stitched Dandelions. The dandelions are one of my favorite things in this release, and they are the perfect focal point for any card design. I combined these dainty dandelions with the new Rounded Stitched Rectangles and a sentiment from the new Everyday Banner Greetings for a simple but beautiful card that any friend would be happy to receive. Take a peek at my supply list (with affiliate links), and then we’ll get started!

My first step was to create the layered background for the dandelions. I die-cut two of the Rounded Stitched Rectangles, one bigger rectangle from Sprout green cardstock and one smaller one from white cardstock. Before layering them onto an A2 Parsley green cardstock panel, I stenciled the dandelion background onto the Sprout green rectangle using a slightly darker green ink.

Next I die-cut all the components of the dandelions. I used parsley cardstock for the stems and leaves and added some shading with a darker ink. For the dandelion flowers, I started with white cardstock and inked the pieces with yellow inks. I assembled the dandelions and attached them to my layered background panels.

To finish things up, I inked a piece of white cardstock with yellow ink and let it dry completely before stamping and heat embossing the word “friend” on it. I used the coordinating dies to die-cut it and added it to my card front under the dandelions. I paired “friend” with a wavy banner and a heat-embossed sentiment from the Everyday Banner Greetings set. Finally, I added a few yellow clay embellishment pieces and attached the card front to a top-fold card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by today to see this delightful card I created featuring products from the new Pretty Pink Posh release. Happy crafting!
