Hello friends! I’m back to share another card featuring products included in this month’s My Monthly Super Hero kit from Hero Arts. This month’s kit is full of celebration with all things cheerful and birthday-related, so I created a fun birthday garland for my card design. I used the Tiny Tags and the A Train Alpha die sets along with the cardstock included in the kit for a card worth celebrating. Before we get started, take a peek at my supply list.

Tiny Tags Die Set
A Train Alpha Die Set

Spellbinders Cardstock: Chiffon, Tutu, Beeswax, and Waterfall

This card comes together quickly and can easily be customized for any recipient or even any occasion by simply changing the cardstock colors and/or changing the word spelled out on the tags. I chose the word “celebrate” and attached each letter to a white rounded tag. I added coordinating hole reinforcers to each tag and then strung them onto white embroidery floss.
With the tags completed, I attached them to an A2 Chiffon cardstock panel using thin foam squares. I placed the tags so they were slightly slanted this way and that to give them some movement and help with the celebratory vibe of the card. Plus, it’s easier than trying to perfectly align nine tiny tags! Then I wrapped the embroidery floss around the sides of the background panel and secured them with tape.

Next, I added some colorful tassels to the garland and confetti dots to the background, all in coordinating colors to the letters. Then I added a white heat-embossed sentiment, die-cut with the coordinating die, and popped up with a foam strip. Finally, I attached the card front to a top-fold card base using a low-profile foam tape. And to help the card front lie flat, I placed the foam tape around the embroidery floss taped to the back, leaving channels for the floss.
Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my cheerful birthday card I created using this month’s Hero Arts My Monthly Super Hero kit! Thanks for reading!
