It’s time for some fun in the sun, friends! Pretty Pink Posh has a new collection of dazzling stamps, dies, and stencils full of sunny, cheerful vibes. I gathered some of the new products to create this colorful fun-in-the-sun card featuring the new Sun Shaker as my focal point. I chose to use the shaker dies as regular dies for this design, combining it with some sunny accessories and a new layered stencil background. Take a peek at the supplies I used, and then I’ll walk you through my process!

My first step for this card was to use the layered stencils to create the background panel. I did some masking while stenciling each layer so I could use a rainbow of colors to create a bright and happy backdrop to the other elements. Before moving on to die-cutting, I spattered the panel with black splatter, and for a stitching detail, I die-cut a Rounded Stitched Rectangle from the center.
With the background panel completed, I started die-cutting the other elements of my card design. I started with white cardstock for everything and ink-blended each die-cut using the same colors I used for stenciling the background. After adding the color, I assembled the pieces and, after letting the sun and the banner dry completely, I heat-embossed the sentiments with white embossing powder.

My final steps were to arrange and secure the die-cuts onto my background panel, trimming anything that overhung the edges, and then attach the completed card front to a top-fold card base.
Thank you so much for stopping by and reading about the sunny card design I created to showcase the latest Pretty Pink Posh collection. Happy crafting!
