Grab your die-cutting machine and your favorite cardstock; this card is nothing but die-cuts! Well, with the exception of the heat-embossed sentiment. But technically, we die-cut that too. I started with colored cardstock for all of my die-cuts and added subtle shading to the pieces before assembling them.
The flamingo bucket came together quickly with the Summer Bucket Addition Dies, and the sunglasses from the new Summer Holder Addition set made her look super cool. I used a variety of summer icons from multiple new die sets to fill the bucket. I combined the citrus slices from two different sets to get the white pith of the orange and used the sun that’s intended for dressing up the bucket as the shining sun on our day at the beach.

To create the background panel, I started with an A2 seaglass cardstock panel, attached it to a card base, and added a sandy beach using the Snowy Hills die set. Then I attached the bucket with foam tape, leaving some space at the top so I could tuck in all the summer goodies. But before filling the bucket, I tucked a few tropical leaves behind it and added the sun and clouds to the sky. Then I tucked in the summer goodies and secured them with either thin or regular foam squares depending on their placement and how much they overlapped other elements.
For the sentiment, I combined a sentiment strip with the word “Summer,” heat-embossed both with white embossing powder on black cardstock, and die-cut them before securing them to the front of my flamingo bucket. Finally, I added some white gel pen highlights to finish up my card design.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see my sunny inspiration for the Pretty Pink Posh Instagram Hop. Happy crafting!
