Hello! Thank you for stopping by! Today I’m sharing my second card featuring products from the Waffle Flower September release, Fall Favorites. I paired the Happy Haunting Dog add-on with the previously released Dog Silhouette and Sweet Plaid Texture Die. Take a peek at the supplies I used, and then we’ll get started!

My first step was to create the background panel. Starting with a piece of Cascade cardstock trimmed to 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I added Cloudy Sky ink to most of the panel and then blended Soft Navy and Black Soot around the edges. Next I stenciled paw prints here and there across the panel and finished by spattering the panel with gold splatter. I set this aside while I worked on the rest of the elements for my card design.
For my die-cutting, I started with white cardstock for everything except for the bones in the dog’s pumpkin. I used Pebble cardstock for those. I added color to my white die-cuts with ink and small blending brushes before assembling them, and for the dog’s ghost costume, I masked around the snout and eye area and added ink to those areas before adding the costume to the Dog Silhouette die-cut. I didn’t have the right-sized moon for my scene, so I die-cut a circle and then die-cut another slightly smaller circle from it.
Next, I attached the assembled die-cuts to my background panel and added the Boo greeting. I die-cut it twice, once from a patterned paper and once from white cardstock, and layered them slightly offset for a white highlight. I attached it with foam squares and then attached my card front to a top-fold card base.
